Encounter Weight Loss is a Christian Weight Loss program that has been developed out of the recognition that we need more than a one dimensional approach to weight loss. This course will take you away from the trap of quick fix dieting and invite you into a journey to lose your weight once and for all, by combining the latest nutritional science with a plan for resolving emotional eating.
Wendy Peter will lead you though ten core value lessons that will teach you to rise above the pull of food and turn to God for strength and grace as you take back your health and regain your confidence. These core values, and areas of focus reflect a whole person approach to weight-loss rather than the one dimensional control the food only approach that has been promoted by the diet industry. Dealing only with the physical part of weight loss has led to years of repeated frustration and disappointment for many. Encountering Nutrition (The Physical Journey).
- Understand why the weight loss rules have changed and how to gain a metabolic advantage through the latest nutritional science.
- Learn how to move away from processed, man made foods and eat foods that God has designed to heal and rebuild your health.
